Die Yucca Elephantipes gehört zur Familie der Yuccas. Diese Zimmerpflanze stammt ursprünglich aus Lateinamerika, wo Yuccas in freier Wildbahn sehr groß werden.
Die Yucca kommt gut mit Sonnenlicht zurecht. Seien Sie anfangs vorsichtig mit direktem Sonnenlicht und gewöhnen Sie die Pflanze langsam daran. Die Yucca Elephantipes benötigt mindestens fünf Stunden direktes Sonnenlicht pro Tag.
Diese Zimmerpflanze ist an ein trockenes Klima gewöhnt und kann daher ohne Wasser auskommen. In wärmeren Perioden braucht die Yucca mehr Wasser, aber im Winter kann diese Pflanze 4 bis 6 Wochen ohne Wasser auskommen.
