Die Strelitzia nicolai, auch Paradiesvogelpflanze genannt, ist eine große grüne Zimmerpflanze, die Sonnenlicht liebt. Mit seinen wunderschönen großen grünen Blättern füllt er perfekt die leere Ecke eines Raumes. Die ursprünglich aus Südafrika stammende Strelitzia kann bei voller Sonne bis zu 10 Meter hoch werden! Diese Zimmerpflanze ist auch für ihre wunderschönen wild wachsenden Blüten bekannt.
Die Blüten ähneln Paradiesvögeln, was der Pflanze den Namen "Paradiesvogelpflanze" oder "Paradiesvogel" eingebracht hat! Leider blüht diese Zimmerpflanze in Innenräumen nicht sehr schnell, aber die schönen großen grünen Blätter sind eine Freude für sich. Gelegentlich können Risse im Blatt auftreten. Dies ist für die Paradiesvogelpflanze völlig natürlich und kein Grund zur Sorge.
Wird zusammen mit einem Viber-Topf geliefert. Der Topf besteht aus Biokunststoff mit Elefantengras aus niederländischem Boden. Der Topf ist biologisch abbaubar und mit Kreide natürlich gefärbt. Aufgrund der hellen Naturfarbest passt dieser Topf in verschiedene Innenräume.
